Why stay at a B&B
The Blue Cottage B&B is run by the owner and offers hospitality service on a personal level with a European Flair. We can accommodate a limited number of guests in 2 guest rooms which means a personal connection with our guests is guaranteed and preparations can be made for personal requirements like dietary restrictions.
We will welcome you in English, German, Dutch, French and Spanish.
A bed and breakfast in general offers a significantly different type of experience than most hotels or motels. While some specifics may seem familiar due to the nature of the hospitality business, staying at the Blue Cottage B&B is unique for a variety of reasons:
* Atmosphere: One of the most striking differences between a bed and breakfast and a hotel is the atmosphere. Though a sense of privacy is retained, the Blue Cottage B&B host and our guests are likely to have a closer relationship with one another due to events like check-in and breakfast.
* Amenities: The amenities offered by the Blue Cottage B&B feature a personal touch that guests wouldn’t get from a hotel. Instead of focusing on the luxury and extravagance some hotels seek to attain, the Blue Cottage B&B aims to make our guests feel at home during their stay.
* Individuality : A key difference between hotels and the Blue Cottage B&B is our two unique rooms. Hotels, whether they are part of a chain or privately owned, typically feature similar layouts and many versions of the same room. Since our Blue Cottage B&B is privately owned, the two bedroom layouts are completely different to offer different, catering to different requirements and needs. Enjoy our Swiss Guest Room with an integrated shower and ensuite toilet or for a longer stay and/or with kids enjoy our larger Dutch Guest Room with a private bathroom, Queen Bed and additional pull-out couch.
