Sustainability
"To us, sustainability is about making choices that prioritize long-term health over short-term gains. We want to live in a way that minimizes harm to the environment and conserves resources. It is not just a concept, but a way of life."

waste reduction efforts
The Blue Cottage has implemented sustainable waste management practices by focusing on a recycling program, composting organic waste and using eco-friendly cleaning products. By minimizing waste and promoting recycling our establishment is actively contributing to the preservation of natural resources and reducing our impact on landfills.
This not only diverts waste from landfills but also provides a valuable resource for our garden by healthy plant growth and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. The Blue Cottages uses refillable breakfast pots and provides water pitchers in each room instead of plastic water bottles.

water conservation
The Blue Cottage has installed dual-flush toilets as a great water-saving-measure and has started to collect rainwater for irrigation purposes. By reducing water consumption, The Blue Cottage wants to preserve this precious resource.
In addition the Blue Cottage is encouraging guests to be mindful of their water usage and is monitoring and repairing any leaks promptly.
